What is Small Group Training (SGT)?
Small group training is made to help you set goals, remain consistent, have accountability and achieve fitness gains. Small group training sessions are with one coach instructing a maximum of six individuals, each with their own personalized fitness plan. Think of it like sharing a personal trainer with others but at 1/3 of the cost – tracking your progress while you pursue your fitness goals. Small group training sessions will give you coaching expertise in a community environment to make your training both beneficial and fun!
Why did Elevate Health Studio add SGT to membership?
We think about our gym as a family, and when we thought about how to better serve you, the idea of small group training came up. Our goal is not for “going to the gym” to just be another thing on your to-do list, but for you to enjoy your workouts within a community and to see results. At Elevate, we want to take care of you and for you to see real results!
What is the process for starting SGT?
The first step is signing up to add SGT to your membership. Once you sign up, you will have a meeting with an Elevate coach to discuss your goals and participate in a small fitness assessment to discern a SGT program that is perfect for you. Each month, you will participate in a SGT program that you have customized with a coach. Your coach will help you track your progress and host monthly check-ins with you to get your feedback and see where you’re at with your fitness goals. The SGT sessions are hosted at various times throughout the week, and you can sign up online for which class you would like to take. There is no official start or stop to your small group training sessions, because there will always be new fitness goals that you are aiming to achieve!
Overall, the process is a simple and streamlined so that you can know what you’re working towards and have efficient workouts!
What do SGT sessions look like at Elevate Health Studio?
Our small group training sessions are not like a traditional group class because they will be part of a fitness program customized specifically for YOU. Each session will have a maximum of SIX participants. This number is small enough to allow the coach to give you maximum attention, but big enough to give the camaraderie and motivation you associate with a class. That’s why it’s incredibly important for you to sign up ahead of time, because only SIX people can be in a session at once for safety and optimal effectiveness.
